Colin Harris completed a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Shang Hai Traditional Chinese Medicine College of BC in 2000 and is a Registered Acupuncturist in BC. Colin has also completed certification in Sportsmedicine Acupuncture from AcuSport Education in the United States, one of only twelve practitioners in Canada with this advanced skill set and certification.
Colin is also a certified practitioner of the Neuro-based advanced movement framework called Square 1 System that is a neuro-based assessment and performance optimization system. The only practitioner certified in this method in BC. Colin is also an advanced level three practitioner of Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT) having also completed Masters Level NKT courses in Pelvic Floor dysfunctions, and Integrated Muscle Testing and Palpation and Mobility and Assessment. One of only a few at this advanced level in BC.
Colin has a Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice, registered with the ACMA Association and the College of Canadian Osteopaths. He integrates a variety of manual osteopathic modalities including Craniosacral Therapy and several advanced fascial techniques into his practice.
Colin is a student of Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabalization and has also received Brain Coach Performance Certification through PosturPro and has a Pain Free Performance Specialist Certification in corrective exercises for pain free training.
In addition to Manual Therapies,
Colin also has a background as a Registered Nurse with a Master of Science in Nursing including acute medical experience. This combination brings a unique perspective to his practice integrating western medical knowledge with alternative healthcare and corrective movement.
